Pay Sussies Forward

I love getting "sussies"! What is a "sussie" you ask? A "sussie" is an unexpected gift....a surprise....a special little treat!

If you don't read Julie Ryker's blog, you should! She is a hoot. AND she gives great style advice. Check out the post What every woman should know. At any rate, she is the reason I am posting this post. I commented on her post about sussies and thought what the heck. I really hope 3 of you comment because I am in a crafty mood and I have some good gifts in mind!

So here's the rules:

I will send a hand made gift to the first three people who leave a comment on this post requesting to join the PIF exchange. All the gifts will be made and sent out sometime soon within the year. How exciting to not know when your surprise package will arrive. What you need to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. This exchange is only open to those with active websites or blogs. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PROMISE TO POST THIS SAME 'PAY IT FORWARD' MESSAGE ON YOUR BLOG, WHICH MUST BE ACTIVE IN ORDER TO PLAY. YOU WILL PAY IT FORWARD TO THREE PEOPLE WHO COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG.

Recap: The first three people who comment, commit to the PIF thing. The gifts are supposed to be hand made. I know a lot of you are probably thinking that you can't get in on it because you aren't "crafty" enough. If you really want in on it but don't find yourself crafty enough, I am sure it would be okay to support someone you know that has a handmade crafty kind of business. Buy a gift from them. Got it?

So hurry and be one of the top 3 so you can get a "sussie"

So much to blog so little time...

Well, I am afraid I am falling off the blogger wagon or is it I am falling on? I haven't posted in what a month? And this is why...as I sit here trying to type this my wonderful Gunner is putting his sunglasses in my face asking if I want to wear them. Of course I don't want to wear them but that doesn't stop him from asking and offering over and over and over again. Too bad he isn't so eager to share his toys with his friends.

So I have lots to blog about and a bunch of pictures but I can't seem to find the time. A trip to Burleson (including a trip to the Ft Worth zoo), a trip to the lake house (including rock climbing and horse back riding), a trip to the lake with the Giles family (I'm not so motivated to blog that one since Jen already did maybe I will just attach a link to her blog), Gunner flying a kite, and much much more.

Life seems to be crazy as always.

I'm think of planning a craft camp for some of my girlfriends. Anyone interested? We would plan a Friday night and all day Saturday. Daddy's would be on duty that weekend for the kids of course. Planning on having it at my mom's house where we can spread out. She also has a sewing machine and surger if anyone would need that for their project. Hoping to do sometime in April or May. What do you think?
